A 10-month-old mother and baby were persecuted to death by grizzly bears outside their remote cabin in the Yukon.
According to the Yukon RCMP and Yukon Coroner Service, Valérie Théorêt, 37, and his baby girl, Adele Roesholt were killed by animals near Lake Einarson, Northeast of Mayo on November 26.
Authorities learned of the death on Monday when Gjermund Roesholt, Théorêt's husband, said he accused and shot a grizzly bear weighing about 100 meters outside the family cabin.
When Roesholt returned home, he found the dead body of his wife and daughter inside.
Yukon RCMP and Yukon Coroner & # 39; s Service are investigating the deaths of two individuals after a suspected bear attack on November 26, northeast of Mayo, near the NWT border. The Yukon Environment is assisting the investigation. More information will be released soon.

Investigations are being carried out by the Mayo RCMP, Yukon Environment, Yukon Coroner Service and RCMP Forensic Identification Section.
According to Roesholt, the family lived in a remote cabin since August and was trapped around the lake.
