REGINA – RCMP said Mountie based in Regina had been charged with forced confinement and pronounced a threat.
The police launched an investigation on December 18 after receiving a report about a meeting that occurred a week before.
They said the officer was not on duty when the alleged violation occurred.
Officers, who have not been named to protect the identities of the victims, appeared in court after being arrested and released from detention on various conditions.
RCMP said officers had been placed on administrative duties and would appear in Regina's provincial court on January 3.
Investigation of the code of ethics has also been ordered by the RCMP.
