Man reports a fake heart attack, stealing defibrillators in Ontario



MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Police west of Toronto are investigating after a life-saving medical device was stolen from the bus terminal.

The incident took place Friday afternoon at the City Center Transit Terminal in Mississauga, Ont.

Regional police Peel said a male suspect approached the ticket window and reported that someone was in a parking lot in a heart arrest.

Police said the man then removed an automatic external defibrillator, or AED, from his cabinet and fled the scene.

He is described as a white man, 25 years old, with a thin, unshaven body, and wearing a white beanie with red writing, a blue backpack, white shoes and a gray coat.

The police asked anyone with information to contact them.
