Japanese chart figures are now December 17 – December 23 and Super Smash Ultimate Brooch the Switch continues to rule.
The new entry in the long-running Smash series maintains its top position, with additional retail sales of 452,617 – pushing it beyond the two million sales figure in the country and deflecting it Dragon Quest Maker 2 in the process, which just arrived at the Switch and PlayStation 4. In the previous week, Ultimate sold 406,617 copies.
During this year's busy period, Pokemon: Let's go, Pikachu! and Come on, Eevee! shifted 144,770 copies and Super Mario Party do better with sales of 155,060. Finally, Katamari Damacy Reroll – new on the charts – rolled up 11,665 sales. There are many other important Switch titles on this week's charts.
