We don't believe that Cap's death will be tragic, because if he is going to swing, it will be what fans of fans and love stars have been fighting for over the past decade. Even so, he might not come out at all …
Evans made the fans excited when he posted on Twitter after finishing shooting Avenger: Endgame, with many people thinking he said goodbye to the character and to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"Officially wrapped Avenger 4. It was an emotional day to say the least, "Evans wrote." Playing this role for the past 8 years has become an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and among the audience, thank you for the memory! Thank you forever. "
After the tweet made a round, Evans had to clarify his statement during an appearance at ACE Comic Con in Chicago.
"I have to clarify that I know I tweeted something that made many people think that it was a spoiler," Evans said. "I have to clarify that regardless of how Avengers 4 ended, I will tweet the exact same thing. The last day of filming was a very emotional day and it was the culmination of almost 10 years of filmmaking and 22 films, this extraordinary tapestry. "
Avenger: Endgame co-director Joe Russo recently spoke about Evans's role in the MCU during an interview with USA Today, where he teased that Captain America might not be done after dust settled in the upcoming crossover film.
"I think it's more emotional for him than us because he's not finished. I won't explain what that means but fans will immediately understand what I'm talking about," Russo said.
Of course, all of these comments don't make the minds of fans comfortable – everyone wants to know what the future of American Captain and Chris Evans is. We will learn the fate of Steve Rogers when Avenger: Endgame premiered in theaters on April 26.
