Emotional intelligence: New criteria for recruiting? – Science Daily

Future employee cognitive skills are examined during a job interview. However, good qualifications and character do not necessarily mean that the person interviewed will be a competent colleague. Individual emotional intelligence must be taken into account, namely its ability to understand, regulate and manage emotions in the specific context of the work environment. Researchers have now compiled emotional intelligence tests that measure emotional competence in the workplace.
