FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The 4.5 scale earthquake has struck about 16 kilometers southwest of Fort St. John, B.C.
The Canadian earthquake said it was felt at Fort St. John, Taylor, Chetwynd and Dawson Creek.
He said there were no reports of damage.
Residents said on social media they felt a vibration around 5:30 a.m.
One Twitter user at Fort St. John said he felt "the entire apartment building was rocking like the top floor would fall."
Taylor's Public Library said on Twitter that the staff "felt a commotion."
