The chickenpox explosion reported epidemiologists from RHI in the city of Tarnovo. Only 50 patients, mostly children, were registered last week, and this area was registered. At the end of October and early November there were also 13 smallpox patients, 12 in Tarnovo. From October 22-28 the picture is the same, the patient is 14. From the 15th to the 21st of the same month varicella again only in Tarnovo.
According to epidemiologists, chickenpox is an infection that cannot be controlled and there is no vaccine that has not been given in Bulgaria. The National General Practitioners Association has proposed that vaccines be included in the state immunization calendar, but this has not yet happened. Sharks are dangerous not only for children but also for adults, and can cause complications. According to the RHI report, 443 cases of smallpox have been recorded in the area since the beginning of the year.
Last week, there were also 14 enterocolitis and 13 acute respiratory diseases, which increased.
There is still no flu and no one knows when it will attack us. According to Professor Todor Kantardzhiev, head of the National Center for Infectious Diseases and Parasites, there may be a flu virus in November, but others circulate, which causes diseases such as flu. In recent years, the flu peak has occurred in January and early February. "This year we will have four strains of flu," the professor warned.
