Demonstrations in Kamrangirchar against the vandalism of the Bangabandhu statue

Speaking as the main guest, Councilor Mohammad Hossain said that losers in 1971 attacked the Bangabandhu statue to erase non-communal consciousness from the war of liberation. Awami League leaders and activists Kamrangirchar Thana will take to the streets to stop their mistakes. Under no circumstances will this evil force be allowed to rise to the occasion.

He added that Bangladesh is a non-communal country. There is no place for violent communalism in this country. Therefore, he appealed to the government to make various war liberation statues including Bangabandhu in all important places in the country.

Also attending the rally were Shefali Akhter, member of the environmental council of the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), Shah Ali, leader of the Kamrangirchar League Thana Awami Shah Ali, Ferdous Mollah, Ali Mia, Amir Hossain, Sirajul Islam, Rezaul Karim, a member of Motalib. and leader of the 57 Awami League. At the end of the rally, a procession left Kamrangirchar Shaheed Minar. The procession takes a different route and ends in front of Rony’s Market in central Rasulpur.
