A 67-year-old ski tourist died on an avalanche on the Lienz Dolomites on Saturday. The police reported that winter sportsmen and colleagues (42) were transported by snow. While 42 years can hold fast to a rock, the older ones are truly buried
Even though the victim was quickly rescued by his colleague, help arrived late for him. The 42-year-old man remained unharmed.
The two tourists went from Lavant to 2,497 meters at Laserztörl. On the last climb, the avalanche was released shortly before 3 pm and pulled two winter athletes to the depths. 42 years were able to find victims quickly by avalanche transceivers (LVS) and recovered. Help arrives late. Disaster surveys have not been completed at this time.
