It comes with expensive handlebars on the A1. At the central checkpoint of the provincial traffic department on Thursday, in the area bordering Lower Austria and Sattledt, nine motorists were almost withdrawn from circulation.
Including the Porsche Cayenne, Audi and Mercedes handlebar, like Klaus Scherleitner, head of the Upper Austria provincial traffic department explained to "Today".
For four drivers, an additional 2,000 euros in security is collected.
Reason: They have what is called a "laser blocker" that is installed in the car. These devices prevent the car from "flashed".
Laser weapons work so that they emit beams of light, which usually return. Not so with the built-in laser blocker. They interfere with the signal. This is not possible to measure speed. The police display shows an error message.
Drivers must remove the device, only then are they allowed to continue.
