The young man lay on the asphalt and could not be revived by the doctors who arrived at the location. The driver fled but a few hours later he appeared at the police station.
After hearing the fact, the 65-year-old man was left free by public prosecutor Walter Jurado, of the Wrong Murder Unit, who was in charge of the investigation.
The victim, according to witness testimony, came from a group of people who tried to stop the vehicle for theft.
After that incident, Electric Radio Command personnel arrested about three other people who, in principle, would be involved in the incident.
