Internet search giant, Google, is thinking about the best way to break the boundary after submitting an application, in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, about virtual reality shoes.
With this potential product, a solution can arise for those who are afraid to hit a wall, when they use a virtual reality helmet and try to walk.
It happened that a patent application was filed by Google, detailing "motorized footwear" for "augmented or virtual reality".
In the document they stated that "this can allow users to walk in a clear way in an endless virtual environment. Meanwhile, it will still remain in physical space defined in the physical environment."
This virtual reality shoes will function to produce a movement sensation, will be connected to a virtual reality device, which allows running without progress. The basic idea is to enhance experience in this environment, especially in this immersive technology game.

Some details of the idea
In documents submitted with the United States Patent and Trademark Office various possibilities and designs are shaken. From traditional wheels that will turn shoes into skate VR, to the possibility of including a "caterpillar type" system.
Of course, instead of wheels, these shoes will have a kind of band. The final idea is that the person may have the feeling that he is moving while walking. It's just that these bands make it not really move in physical space.
At the same time, shoes will have sensors that will interpret foot movements and make the person move in a virtual space. The virtual reality shoes they will allow users to walk unlimited distances even if they are in a small place.
Google proposes a design with a kind of platform that will give a natural impression of walking to the user. Besides that, this will be on some of their soles omnidirectional bands so that the person can move in any direction in the virtual space.
However, despite the innovative designs they propose, they will have challenges. They must ensure that users do not fall when wearing these shoes.
Note that Google VR shoes appear in patents, as mentioned above. This means that this is a manufacturing project that is not necessarily a commercial product.
Even so, it is interesting to note that strong companies think about solutions to enhance virtual reality experiences. Even though it's only an unconfirmed project.
