Attorney Lázaro Báez requested that the trial be canceled because of alleged irregularities in Santa Cruz public works, which were among the accused businessmen and former president Cristina Kirchner, and presents a challenge to the two judges involved in this case. Giménez Uriburu was the judge in the Roads case (and the fourth judge in which money laundering was investigated) and Palliotti was the judge of the last and fourth in the previous one.
The maneuvers of the judges' resignation and asking them to postpone the trial took place after the reversal of the Supreme Court so that it did not preclude the beginning of the debate about the causes of investigating public works in Santa Cruz, before resistance from the oral Court.
