JOHANNESBURG – Leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Julius Malema said the South African financial sector must be disrupted in order to transform and empower black people.
Malema spoke at a party consultative meeting with players in the financial sector on Friday.
The party has met with various sectors of society when formulating its manifesto ahead of the 2019 election.
Malema said the country needed to build a solid financial sector.
"We have to screw it up and by doing that we have to be very brave about it. We must not walk in the financial sector. We have empowered black people. "
