Duchess Meghan is accused of being 'naive'

LONDON – Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne thinks Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has been "naive" about the pressures of royal life.

Nelthorpe-Cowne thinks exSuit The actress – known as Meghan Markle before marrying Prince Harry in 2018 – was unaware of the pressure and supervision that came with being a member of the British royal family.

He told MailOnline: "He's naive. I still think so now."

Duchess and Nelthorpe-Cowne actually had lunch before the actress's first date with Prince Harry in 2016.

Nelthorpe-Cowne – 54 – who hasn't worked with duchess since October 2017 – remembers duchess tells of a planned date with the Prince.

He said, "He whispered so quietly that I had to ask him to repeat it. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, but I don't think he could believe it either.

But Nelthorpe-Cowne – who is a director at a London-based talent agency – quickly warned the former actress about the dangers of dating royalties.

He shared: "One day we had lunch at the Strand in London and obviously it became very serious with Harry.

"I said, 'This is serious. This is the end of your normal life, the end of your privacy – everything.'

"But he just raised his hand and said, 'Stop. I don't want to hear anything negative. This is a happy time for us.'

Meanwhile, Prince Harry recently admitted that he and his brother Prince William had "good days and bad days".

The 35-year-old king – who has a five-month-old son named Archie and his wife – played down rumors of a rift between siblings, insisting they would "always be there" for each other.

He shared: "We are brothers. We will always be brothers. We are of course on a different path at the moment but I will always be there for him because I know he will always be there for me.

"We didn't meet each other like we used to because we were very busy but I loved him very much. The majority of goods were created from nothing but brothers, you know, you have good days, you have bad days."
