Africa: Eid al-Fitr, Thakoor Chosen as the Most Extraordinary African ICT Executive



Cape Town – INDUSTRI colleagues have chosen Abdikarim Mohamed Eid and Priya Thakoor as the most inspiring information and communication technology companies among corporate executives (CXO) for this year.

The duo has won CXO of the Year and Enterprise CXO of the Year, respectively, in AfricaCom, which has just ended in Cape Town, South Africa.

Idul Fitri is the Chief Executive Officer of Telesom, a private company in Somaliland. Thakoor is the Chief Digital Officer for Coca-Cola, South Africa.

Among the biggest winners at the AfricaCom Awards include Econet Wireless, Ericsson, Huawei, Kwesé iflix, Liquid Telecom, Orange, and Yego Innovision.

Tom Cuthell, Director of AfricaCom, congratulates the winners.
